MacKenzie-Childs decor is where the studio has the most fun. These are the pieces that do not have a job in the kitchen: clocks, butterflies, owls and animals, hand-painted in the same patterns as the tableware so they sit naturally beside it.

Clocks are a good place to start, because they are useful and they put the pattern at eye level. The Courtly Check Enamel Clock, Desk Clock and the Small and Large Farmhouse Wall Clocks cover a desk, a shelf or a kitchen wall.

The butterflies group well on a wall. The single Courtly Check Butterfly, the Courtly Check and Garden Duos and the Field Trio can be mixed into one arrangement. For a shelf or mantel, the Courtly Check Owl, the Small Moose and Fergal Frog on Ball add character, and the Courtly Check Pedestal Urn anchors a larger arrangement.

Dekado has been an authorized MacKenzie-Childs retailer since 2010.
