Dining & Entertaining

MacKenzie-Childs Dining & Entertaining covers everything that goes on the table once the cooking is done: dinnerware, serving pieces, pitchers and stands, and seasonal table linens, in the studio’s checks, florals and seasonal designs.

A place setting starts with the Sky Check Dinner Plate, Salad/Dessert Plate and Charger/Plate. For the main course, the Sky Check Serving Platter, Medium Oval Platter and Abundant Bowl do the heavy lifting, and pedestal pieces such as the Large Compote and Three Tier Sweet Stand add height for dessert. The Large Practical Pitcher and the Check Serving Stand finish the table.

The smaller pieces are where most people start: salt and pepper sets such as the Mocha Check Squirrel, Courtly Check Glass Coasters, and seasonal placemats and runners like the Natural Noel Jolly Ornaments Table Runner.

If you are choosing a platter for a holiday meal, our serving platter size guide compares the shapes side by side, and our guide to layering a fall table shows how to mix patterns without crowding it. Dekado has been an authorized MacKenzie-Childs retailer since 2010.
