Violet Check paints the MacKenzie-Childs checkerboard in purple and white. It is the boldest of the newer check colors, and it pairs well with spring florals, lavender and the Rosy Check pink.
Like Courtly Check, each square is painted by hand in upstate New York, so no two pieces are quite the same and the pattern mixes naturally with the other checks.
Most collections start in the kitchen. The 2 Quart and 3 Quart Tea Kettles, the French Press and the Large, Medium and Small Kitchen Canisters cover the counter. For the table, the Large Pedestal Platter and Three Tier Sweet Stand do the entertaining. Beyond the kitchen, the Tall Vase, School Wall Clock and the LED Rechargeable Cafe Table Lamp carry the color into the rest of the house.
Dekado has been an authorized MacKenzie-Childs retailer since 2010.
