Emerald Check paints the MacKenzie-Childs checkerboard in deep green and white. It is the check collection that looks most at home in a kitchen with wood, brass or plants around it, and it carries from spring through the holidays without reading as seasonal.
Like Courtly Check, every square is painted by hand in upstate New York, so the grid is slightly irregular and no two pieces are identical. That shared hand is why Emerald Check mixes easily with the black and white original, and with Royal Check or Mocha Check if you like more than one color on a shelf.
Most collections start on the stove. The 2 Quart Tea Kettle and 3 Quart Tea Kettle are the signature shapes, and the Large, Medium and Small Kitchen Canisters group into a set on the counter. For serving, the Large Pedestal Platter and Three Tier Sweet Stand are made for a party table. The Mug and Herb Pots, Set of 3 are easy first pieces or gifts.
Dekado has been an authorized MacKenzie-Childs retailer since 2010.
