The Dala horse has been a Scandinavian symbol of good fortune for centuries. MacKenzie-Childs gives the large version its own accent: hand-painted, color-dragged Courtly Checks in black and white, applied so no two horses are identical. It holds a console, mantel, or bookshelf on its own and reads beautifully against evergreen and candlelight once the holidays arrive. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
